About Don

Don Merrill's Story For What Ever It Is Worth

I was born October 24,1934 in Phoenix, New York
a small village north of Syracuse,N.Y.
I graduated from high school in 1952 and started working at the General Electric Company in Syracuse.
In 1954 I enter the Air Force and spent most of my time
at Eglin Air Force Base In Florida.
In 1958 I enrolled in Syracuse University
while working part time with GE.
I graduated from college in 1962
and went back to work with GE.
In 1965 I got tired of the snow and cold
and transfered to Daytona Beach,Florida.
In nov 1971 I married my wife Veronica AKA Roni (pronounced Ronnie) and in Nov 1972 our oldest was born.Our youngest was born in Sep 1974.
In 1976 we were transfered to Pennsylvania
and lived in King Of Prussia.
In 1978 we were transfered back to Florida.
I retired from GE in Jan 1992 as a computer programmer and said no more programming for me and here I am learning HTML.
My interests are: doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles and snipping female locks of hair.
